The 4th edition of SMARC exhibition, an event dedicated to marketing, communication and customer relationship experts in French-speaking Switzerland, took place on April 24 and 25, 2018 at Palexpo in Geneva, Switzerland. During this event, about 250 companies from the marketing and customer relationship industries presented their offers, and nearly 130 conferences, product demos, keynote sessions and workshops were held.
In addition, four parallel exhibitions were held as parallel events to SMARC which are eCom, an exhibition dedicated to web, mobile and e-business; BI Swiss Forum (BISF), a conference exclusively dedicated to BI and Big Data; Swiss IT Business (SITB), an exhibition dedicated to business software and IT solutions and; Retail Expo, an event dedicated to retail and point of sales.
During SMARC exhibition, digital marketers emphasized the growing importance of video content in corporate communication, which has become a fundamental lever for digital strategies. Indeed, marketing experts explained that a successful online business communication relies today on a digital presence on social networks using video content.
